A bubble gum pink Truvy hair salon with the cutest tiles one has ever seen. That was the main goal in the painting aspects of this show as given by the designer. Stencils were made to create the flower patterns that are within the tiles. The tile line were painted on by lining it out in chalk lines first and then going over it with paint while using a lining stick. The woodgrain was made more vibrant by adding orange into the grain mixture, this gave the wooden parts of the set a cozy warmth. The side paneling for the “outside” of the house was pneumatically sprayed on.
