My name is Emma Mercedes. I am a senior at Ball State University, and getting a BFA in Theatre Design & Technology with a concentration in scenic design. Throughout my time at Ball state I have done 3 scenic designs myself as the lead scenic designer. Those shows have been: Romeo & Juliet, Blood Wedding, and Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. I have also assistant designed Cabaret alongside my scenic design professor, Cade M. Sikora. In addition to scenic I was the props manger & artisan for The Prom, and Spongebob the Musical. Outside of Ball State I worked at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts as their scenic artist during this past 2025 summer stock season. I worked on 5 productions with them over the course of 2 and a half months.
